Dr. Holt specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He is experienced in a wide range of non-invasive imaging studies, including nuclear cardiac stress testing and cardiovascular ultrasound. His services include general adult cardiology and cardiac assessment for all aspects of heart disease. Dr. Holt is committed to personalized care and consultation.
A Newport native, Dr. Holt earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico where he performed award-winning research on a new marker to detect heart attacks allowing him to perform externships at the Cleveland Clinic and Northwestern University in Chicago. He later completed an internship and residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, along with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Holt is board certified in cardiovascular disease. He speaks Spanish fluently.
